Space Coast Neighborhoods	Brevard County, seventy-two-plus miles long, fronts the Atlantic Ocean for its full length. Business and industry make up a significant part of the economy, along with agriculture. Widely believed to have been named for Thomas W. Brevard, the Florida Comptroller at the time of the creation, the County was created by an act of the Florida Legislature in 1854, and signed into law by the governor in early 1855. At the time of its formation, it encompassed all of St. Lucie County and stretched all the way to the Dade County border but took on its present day shape and size in 1905. Today the exciting County is home to approximately 461,000 people residing in fifteen municipalities and unincorporated areas.

RECREATION - From the Canaveral National Seashore Park in the north of the county to Sebastian Inlet State Park at the southern tip of the county, there are miles and miles of sandy beaches for recreation.

Additionally, world famous Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and other popular attractions are within one and one-half hours driving time.

Florida Technological University has a full campus in the south end of the county. Barry University School of Law is located in Orlando, which is approximately 35 miles west of Titusville.
